About Mitsubishi Eclipse Parts
It's a sad thing to admit, but eventually, you are going to have to replace a part in your famed sports car from Mitsubishi. From the first Eclipse rolling off the showcase in 1990 to the newer, more stylish models today, this car is renowned for its popularity among younger drivers and has even reached a new buying community with middle-aged drivers wanting a sportier look. The Eclipse has everything that you would expect a trusted car company like Mitsubishi to produce.
All in all, the Mitsubishi Eclipse has gone over 4 generations of revisions. The 1G and the 2G share automotive parts with both the Plymouth Laser and the Eagle Talon. The 3G was based off of a brand new model and most of the parts that were compatible with the Laser and the Talon are not. Mitsubishi did this to seperate itself and make a statement that the Eclipse is here to stay. 4G models of the Eclipse's were unveiled in 2005 and extend all the up to the current model line.
There are many different trim levels that are available with the Mitsubishi Eclipse. Some of these levels include the GS, GS DOHC, GS Turbo, GSX, GS Spyder, GS-T and the RS. Each one of these uses a specificiation that seperates itself from the other models of the Eclipse.
